■和歌山県国際交流協会は、県の国際化に寄与し、県民の国際交流や国際理解の推進のため、平成２年に県、市町村、そして民間が一体となり設立されました。

■当協会では、国際交流に関する情報収集と提供、国際理解を深めるための啓発、および国際交流を推進するための各種事業を行っています。

■Wakayama International Exchange Association (WIXAS) was established on November 15, 1990 with the support of Wakayama Prefecture, local authorities, private enterprises and others.

■WIXAS objectives are to contribute to internationalization of Wakayama Prefecture through international exchange projects and to promote international goodwill, friendship and understanding among citizens.

■WIXAS collects and distributes information regarding international exchange, educates citizens to deepen their international understanding, and holds various programs to promote international exchange.]
